Chandra Shekhar Azad was a brilliant fiery revolutionary who fiercely desires freedom for his country. A contemporary of Bhagat Singh, Azad never offered the same level of prayer for his deeds, yet his deeds were an example of valor. The long-period aim of his life was to create as many trouble as possible for the British government.

He was a master in disguise, and he escaped many times from the British. His famous speech "We will face the enemy's (British) bullets", we are independent, and we shall remain independent forever". He embraced martyrdom as an old friend and inspired a fierce sense of freedom in the hearts of his contemporary.

Early life:

Chandrashekhar Azad was born on 23 July 1906 Bhabra village, now is named Chandrashekhar Azadnagar in  Alirajpur district. His ancestors were from Badarka (Unnao district). Chandrashekhar mother was Jagarani Devi and his Azad's father, Pandit Sitaram Tiwari left his Paternal residence Badarka during the famine. 
He worked for the first few days in the Alirajpur princely state of Madhya Pradesh and then settled in Bhabra village. The boy Chandrasekhar spent his childhood here. Azad's early life was spent in the village of Bhabra in the tribal area, and during his childhood, Azad shot a lot of bow and arrow with the tribal boys.

Education Life :

Chandrasekhar's early education started at own home. He had no special attachment in studies.  Manohar Lal Trivedi, a close friend of his father, his studies were taken up. He used to teach him and his brother and he used a cane if he made a mistake.

Chandrasekhar's parents wanted him to be a Sanskrit scholar. But before coming to class four, his mind was determined to run away from home. They just kept looking for a chance to escape from home.

Meanwhile, Manoharlal got him a simple job, so that his mind would be removed from the other things. And with this, some financial help can also be given to the house. But Shekhar did not seem to mind for the job.

They just kept thinking opportunities for leaving this job. The spark of the revolutionary was burning inside them. They used to live just to run away from home and It was here that the spark was slowly taking the form of fire. One day Azad get a  proper opportunity and ran away from home after getting.

As a Freedom fighter:

In 1919, Chandrashekhar Azad was strongly feeling hurt and upset by the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. When Mahatma Gandhi started the Non-Cooperation Movement in 1921

Chandrashekhar Azad actively worked as a Rebel in this revolutionary activity. He gets his first punishment at the age of fifteen. Chandrashekhar Azad was an arrest for revolutionary activities. When the magistrate asked him his name, Chandrashekhar called his name Azad. Chandrasekhar Azad was punished to fifteen lashes. 

Every whip of the whip, Youth Chandrasekhar shouted "Bharat Mata ki Jai". Since then Chandrashekhar received the name of Azad and became popular as Azad. Chandrasekhar Azad, who was working in the freedom movement, swore that he never be arrested alive by the British government, and he will die the death of freedom.

Chandrasekhar Azad was attracted to more aggressive and revolutionary ideals after the non-cooperation movement was deferred. He promises himself to independence the country at any cost.
Chandrasekhar Azad, along with his allies, targeted British officials who were known for their repressive policies against the general public and freedom fighters.

 In 1928, the shooting of Saunders to avenge Lala Lajpat Rai's death in Lahore and attempt to blow the train of Viceroy's 1926, Chandrashekhar Azad was involved in incidents such as the Kakori train robbery.

Along with Bhagat Singh and other patriots like Sukhdev and Rajguru, Chandrashekhar Azad formed the "Hindustan Samajwadi Prajatantra Sabha". Its goal was to apply socialist principles to the progress in the future of India along with India's freedom.

Lahore Conspiracy:

Azad made a long whirl and lastly reached Kanpur where HRA had headquarters base. There he met such as Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Pulsed with renewed energy, he reorganized the HRA and named it as the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association along with freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. In 1928 On 30 October  Lala Lajpat Rai staged protest against the Simon Commission in Lahore a peaceful.

Superintendent of Police James Scott ordered Sticks are charged to strike prevent the advancement. Lala Lajpat Rai was seriously injured in the process, in 1928 on 17 November he died for injuries. Azad and his comrades held the Superintendent of Police responsible for the death of Lala Lajpat and they swear revenge. 

Together with Bhagat Singh, Shivram Rajguru, and  Sukhdev Thapar, they conspired to assassinate James Scott. On December 17, 1928, the plan was carried out but the wrong identity led to the murder of assistant superintendent of police (John P. Saunders). 

The next day the HSRA took responsibility for this case, and those involved were established at the top of the British most wanted list. Bhagat was arrested after his performance in the Delhi on April 8, 1929,  Legislative Assembly.  

When HSRA's in Lahore and Saharanpur were busted bomb factories, some members are supported for the state, resulting in twenty-one members along with Rajguru and Sukhdev being arrested. Chandrasekhar was accused in the Lahore Conspiracy Case trial along with 29 others, but he was among those who were unable to convince the British authorities.

Death:

Due to his revolutionary activities, Chandrasekhar became a terror for the British police. Azad was on the British government hit list and the British police anyhow wanted to catch him alive or dead. In 1931 on 27 February, when Chandrasekhar Azad went to meet his own colleagues at Alfred Park in Allahabad. One of his informants Cheated him and informed the British police to them.

The police surrounded all over the park and ordered Chandrashekhar Azad to surrender to police. Chandrasekhar Azad Alone while fighting bravely killed three policemen. But when he looked himself surrounded and there seemed to escape has no way, this brave son of Mother India shot himself.
