Swami Vivekananda Hindu monk and among the most celebrated religious leaders of India. He had been just a spiritual head; he had been a prolific thinker, good orator, and enthusiastic patriot. Early Life and Education:
Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863 in Calcutta. His childhood name was Narendranath. His father Shri Vishwanath Dutt was a famous lawyer of the Calcutta High Court. His father believed in Western civilization.He also wanted to teach his son Narendra as an English teacher and to run on the path of Western civilization. His mother, Smt Bhubaneswarvi Devi, was a woman of religious ideas. Most of his time spent in worshiping Lord Shiva.

Narendra's intellect was strong from his childhood and his longing to attain God was also strong. For this, he went to 'Brahma Samaj' before, but his mind was not satisfied there. They wanted to make Vedanta and Yoga important contributions to prevail in Western culture.
Suddenly Vishwanath Dutt died. The burden of the house fell upon Narendra. The condition of the house was very bad. Narendra was also a great guest in extreme poverty. Staying hungry, giving food to the guest himself, staying in the rain out of the night in the rain, and keeping the guest sleeping on his bed.
Loyalty to master Ramkrishna:
Swami Vivekananda had dedicated his life to his Gurudev Sri Ramkrishna. In the days of Gurudev's body-sacrifice, without worrying about the delicate condition of his house and family, without being concerned about his own food, he remained intact in the service of the Guru. Gurudev's body became very sick.Once someone showed hatred and inactivity in Gurudev's service and frowned with hatred. Seeing this, Swami Vivekananda got angry. The teacher taught the lesson to the brother and throwing a spit full of blood, cuff, etc., towards his bed showing his love for each and every object of Gurudev.
